MOBILE APP
This App will help you plan for, navigate during, and connect to other people at the National Government Ethics Conference. Here are a few tips for using some of the features:
Maps: For your convenience we have provided a map of the conference space and a map of the Program Excellence and Innovation Hall. Each map is interactive. On the map of the conference space, click on any of the rooms to find which sessions are occurring in them and at what time. On the map of the Program Excellence and Innovation Hall, click on any of the booths to see which agency is at that booth and what products they are showcasing.
Schedule: You can view the schedule by day, by session type, by category, by speaker. You can also plan your attendance by selecting sessions using the “Favorites” buttons. You can quickly and easily pull up the exact schedule, location, other information you need during the conference with a simple tap.
Exhibitors: Search for exhibitors by agency, by product type, or by category. You can also plan your attendance by selecting exhibit booths using the “Favorites” buttons. You can quickly and easily pull up the exact location, other information you need during the conference with a simple tap.
Contacts:Exchange your contact information with others easily. This is entirely opt in and you only share your information with those you explicitly choose. Prepare by editing your contact information with the display name you want others to see. All the other information you enter will only be shared when you choose someone in the “Attendee” list. They send you their information by choosing you on their device.
Menus: Breakfast and lunch menus are available for you to view.
Search: Use this button to search throughout the app.
Updating: All key data is stored locally on your device so it works when there is poor or no Wi-Fi or Cell connection. When there is connectivity, the app takes advantage to communicate with the CrowdCompass Event Center server to provide updates to you and save your favorites. This occurs in the background so your usage of the app is not interrupted. When connected, the time to update depends on the device and the strength of the connection.
